Does Anyone Else Feel Cheated by The Blues?

If you are a Blues Hockey fan, then no doubt you were like me in the off season. The Blues have put together a great advertising campaign and after a horrible 08-09 season, we started to believe again.

We opened with 2 games versus Detroit and came back with 2 wins. I thought to my self, ok, we got something here. We are back. Not so fast. As of this post we are scraping the bottom of the barrel and I for one feel cheated. I feel as if I was lied to. I feel like someone owes me an explanation of what is going on. What happened to the "Vows" the Blues took before the season. Never quit, best I can, etc.

Is this what you repay your fans with? You sucked us in, we bought tickets, we believed. Only to wake up and find the equivalent of the day we found out Santa Clause wasn't real. Devastation. I am not sure I can rebound from this extreme let down. I may be different in my thinking if we were a .500 team. It is a long season and we need a few tweaks here and there and we could be a contender, but we are from that.

Message to the Blues: You owe your fans an explanation. We demand an apology and furthermore, we require a course of action. What are you going to do next year to get us fans to back you. You let us down and I am not sure how long I can stick by you. Perhaps you should have taken that money you spent in advertising and invested it the team. Blues fans are the most die hard in the country but we can only be deceived for so long.
